The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Prototype” is a September 2021 release of the vintage basketball shoe by Jordan Brand in a colorway with a pre-production design ethos. Inspired by actual prototypes, the aptly named “Prototype” makeup of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe is complete with various contrasting panels and accenting hues. The upper features a white leather base with contrasting beige panels on the toe cap, forefoot, and eyelets. Both the Swoosh logo and heel appear in black leather. The collar and ankle flap are constructed in two hues of blue leather and synthetic nubuck, respectively. Reflective silver detailing is also added to the hel between the blue panels and the black heel panel. To further articulate the prototype look, perforations on the collar mark where you can cut to make the high-top shoe into a low-top. Release date: September 24, 2021
